Monday Monologue #66

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • Comments should now be open on all recent posts. There was a bug in WordPress that always closed comments despite what was selected. There is a workaround if an author is aware of the problem; but, considering how significant of an issue it is, I think they should have released an update by now.
  • As in previous years, The Wife and I got a few gifts that we can’t use for Christmas. And, of course, we also received clothing that is too big. My mom thinks that I’m the same size as my brother; but anything that fits him is too big for me. And The Wife is MUCH smaller than my sister. They are not comparable sizes to us.
  • I can’t believe that it will be 2014 in two days. It doesn’t seem like that long ago that we were talking about the turn of the century and the “millennium bug”. With our youngest on schedule to graduate from college, 2014 will be another year of change for us.
  • Congratulations to the Bengals. Hopefully, they can finally win a playoff game and won’t be “one and done” as in past years. But, no matter what happens, it has still been a good year. Their head coach didn’t get fired today.

  1. Happy New Year! Well in a few hours it will be! Also rooting for the Bengals to demolish San Diego who were barely able to beat the second / third string of Kansas City. Looking forward to seeing more of your pics and videos in 2014!

    • Old Guy: Thank you for the well wishes for the upcoming year. The Wife and I are looking forward to it. We ended 2013 with a video and started 2014 with the continuation of it.

Like many teams, The Bengals go as their QB goes. Hopefully the good one and not his evil twin will show up on Sunday.
