Friday Featurette #174

The Wife naked on the Bed waiting for The HusbandToday was a short day at work, comparatively speaking. That means I was actually able to leave at t normal time for a Friday. And wasn’t behind on anything. After a week of struggling to get everything done, it felt good. And it was a sunny January day. So the drive home was nice. Especially since most days this week it was dark by the time I went home. So it looks like a good weekend ahead. I’ve got one thing to do on Saturday, then nothing planned but relaxing until Monday.

Wednesday Weirdness #174

I had a long day at work yesterday followed by a short night and another long day again today. So I was both physically and mentally tired when I came finally came home. So much so that I made sure to open the door to the house carefully so as not to bump the “temporary” dog who doesn’t live here any longer. I’m not sure whether its good thing or a bad thing that I forget we don’t have a dog around anymore when I’m tired. What is undeniably good is that all her accidents are a memory.

Monday Monologue #174

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • I was doing a good job of not getting the winter blues until the latest blast of cold air hit. It’s also windy so it seems even colder. Thankfully, the big winter storm passed by to the east of us.
  • It’s already the last week in January and I have only received a few of my tax documents in the mail. Kinda frustrating since The Wife already has most if not all of the forms she needs. It’s been a long time since I worked for a company that was prompt. I’d be annoyed if I was expecting a refund.
  • I’ve been working out a lot on the new adaptive motion trainer they have at the gym we go to during cold weather. I really would like to buy one for home; but they are super expensive. Especially considering that we wouldn’t use an exercise machine during the summer.
  • I still haven’t identified why our computer sometimes hangs when logging off. I’ve searched online; but haven’t found anything useful. I’m sure I’ll find out what’s causing it sooner or later; but, right now, it’s a nuisance. Luckily, our new computer restarts quickly.

Friday Featurette #173

The Wife sitting naked on the bed waiting for The Husband with some flavored lubricantUnlike a lot of people, I did NOT have a short work week so I am really glad the weekend is finally here. Ordinarily I wouldn’t have minded working; but, the temperatures on Monday morning were frigid. Not really the type of weather to be out and about in. The Wife did have the day off and I would have much rather spent the day at home with her. She gets both more holidays and more vacation than I do so our off day schedules don’t always align. It’s a long way off; but I’m looking very forward to Memorial Day.

Have a great weekend.

Traditional Thursday #173

The Wife underneath The Husband with her legs in the airI recently read somewhere that 2015 was warmest year on record. I think that is kinda ironic that they announced it when we’re in the middle of a cold spell. It took me a long time to warm up after shoveling snow out of the drive way. All I wanted to do once I got back inside was start the fireplace and drink hot apple cider. 2016 may ultimately be a warm year. But it’s definitely not string out that way. I did finally warm up and move on to other things after a while.

Wednesday Weirdness #173

The commute in the snow and ice this morning was crazy. I saw more cars off the road in ditches that I could count. Yet some people still persisted in gong much too fast for the conditions. I would rather get where I’m going a few minutes late rather than not at all. The unfortunate drivers who skidded off the road are going to be waiting a long time for a tow, even if their vehicles are miraculously undamaged. Getting to work exactly on time is not worth the risk.

Tuesday Two For #173

The Wife riding The Husband's dick cowgirl styleJust one photograph today even though it is Tuesday. Mostly because my feet were too much in the way. I actually moved the camera after I first set it up. Of course, there is no way to see things from the camera’s perspective after I’ve made an adjustment and get back in the picture. We used to have one with a flip out LCD that could be rotated toward the front. But that was a long time ago. We’ll do better next time. Or maybe we won’t; however, we’re certainly going to keep trying.

Monday Monologue #173

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • I got second place in my “race” this weekend. It on a machine and not on the water; so it’s more a measure of physical endurance. But, even if progress is slow, I am getting better.
  • I will leave out the details; but I had another test today which required me to collect a “sample” over the weekend. It seems like I have more than my fair share of tests. But, the results are usually good, so I can’t really complain.
  • I got my new glasses today. They are GREAT! I get new lenses regularly; but I am still always surprised by how much my vision is improved with new lenses.
  • The ability to remote start my vehicle from long range over the internet has always been a cool gadget. It’s especially handy when it’s below zero outside and my car has been sitting out all day in the parking lot.
