Friday Featurette #258

The Wife sitting naked on the bed before a "photo" sessionToday is a getaway day as I like to call them. Which means we don’t have to work and are heading off into the sunset. The “sunset” in this case is a quick weekend trip. The weather is great warm and sunny with neither rain or cooler temperatures in the forecast. We plan to take a few more Fridays off this year to enjoy the day and elongate the weekend. You can never have enough three-day weekends.

Traditional Thursday #258

The Husband on top of The Wife with her legs togetherI’m not under the weather; but I’ve already started wearing a hat and drinking hit apple cider. Where did the summer go? Hopefully we’ll get a few more glorious days before fall weather is here to stay. Of course, we don’t have a hurricane season around here, so we’ve got nothing to really complain about.

Wednesday Weirdness #258

I very narrowly avoided colliding with a car going right of the center line when turning right out of a drive way the other day. I had to slam on the brakes to avoid an accident. Meanwhile, they proceeded on oblivious how close they came to crashing into me. There was no reason for them to come into my lane except for the fact that they obviously weren’t paying any attention to what they were doing.

Tuesday Two For #258

The Husband on top of The Wife with her legs in the airThe Wife seems to have caught a virus and is a little under the weather this week. So, we didn’t have as extensive of a photo session as usual. Hopefully, she will recover quickly and be back to normal in a few days. ‘Til then here are a few photos after I warmed her up.

Monday Monologue #258

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • Both our favorite college and professional football teams endured thorough beatings this weekend. Hopefully they can regroup; but, right now, it’s still kinda depressing.
  • It didn’t need that much; but we put water in the pool for the first time on Saturday. Its definitely been a wetter summer than previous years.
  • It was good to have my more powerful gas-powered trimmer back from the shop. I did all the areas I hand been mostly neglecting due to the difficulty of using my corded electric trimmer.
  • My weight has been staying around 150lbs since I gave up eating snacks at the beginning of last month. I knew I snacked too much; but I still didn’t think it would have such a dramatic effect.

Friday Featurette #257

The Wife sucking The Husband's dickBecause of our camera problems, we had to reach into the way-back machine and select a photo that from August. That’s not ideal; but it’s the best that we can do. Hopefully we won’t have any technical difficulties next time.

Have a great weekend!

Traditional Thursday #257

Our camera shut off for some unknow reason when we were making a movie so we only have the beginning, unfortunately. It wasn’t the battery, it just stopped recording. So, you’ll have to use your imagination for what happens next. Even though there really isn’t a model that appeals to us, it’s looking more and more like we need a replacement.

Wednesday Weirdness #257

I finally got my gas trimer back from the repair shop after having to use the corded electric one all summer. It took a long, long time to get the correct parts from the manufacturer. I’ll barely use it this year since were so late into the mowing season. Hopefully it won’t break down again next season when the warranty has expired after I lost four months of use this year.

Monday Monologue #257

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • Saturday was wet and dreary; but we were able to get in the pool both yesterday and today. A great way to commemorate the symbolic end of summer.
  • Looking forward to pro football season. Hope springs eternal for the downtrodden fans of our favorite team.  Especially before the first game of the season. Perhaps the weather will cooperate and we’ll be able to get attend some games in person without freezing.
  • I replaced one more item on our boat that I didn’t think needed to be replaced but was actually more worn out than I thought. We row it a lot so things get worn out faster than if we didn’t use it so much. Hopefully this is the last thing for the season.
  • For some strange reason, an old computer game that is a favorite of The Wife and I has been crashing a lot recently. I’m not sure what, if anything, has changed; but it’s frustrating, especially when we’re winning.
