Now that the air conditional isn’t so loud and doesn’t have an annoying vibration, we’ve moved the bed back against the outside wall. It was only a few inches away from the wall before. But, I never quite got used to the bed not being next to at least one wall. The bed is still new so I don’t think it increases the noise from the bed springs. Can you tell any difference?
We are really enjoying our new A/C. The air that comes out of the registers is much colder than before. Plus its great not having to think about whether or not it’s still going to be running when we get back inside after an afternoon in the heat. One less thing to worry about when we’re on vacation.
One of the minor annoyances of both of us being nearsighted is that we can’t see the camera when it’s on the tripod even though its only a few feet away. So, we can’t tell if the light stops flashing (which means it’s not recording). We really never know if it’s working or not. Obviously, it should keep going once it’s started. But sometimes, it doesn’t. Most people see well enough to notice. Unfortunately, we do not. So, making a movie always needs a bit of luck. This time, everything worked as expected and we have a video to share.
Here is a picture of the two of us just hanging out after a photo session. I’m not in as many photographs as The Wife so I though it would be nice for both of us to be in a candid picture. The summer solstice is fast approaching and we are really enjoying the long evenings. Days like today don’t come around too often.
We are still in movie mode before the springs get too loud. The new bed is nice but it gets a lot of “use”. Enjoy.
Here is a candid photograph of The Wife making up the new bed after our photo session was over. We’re not posting it for any particular reason. It just seemed like a fun picture. Life is good now that the days aren’t so cold, wet and dreary. We really enjoy the sunshine. Even when we aren’t outside doing things. The days are long, the sun is warm. And summer is finally here.
So far, this has been a good month. We’re slowly starting to forget the cold, dreary days of April. And, if we don’t have a thunderstorm pop up, we can get in the pool for the first time of the season sometime over the weekend. Plus, we’ve finally been able to row consistently on our normal schedule. That shouldn’t be unusual; but, this year, it has been. So, it’s good to be able to enjoy the spring both inside and out.
