Traditional Thursday #287

We ended up going out of town for a long weekend so we only recently had the opportunity to make another movie. This time the camera did not stop recording unexpectedly. The springs in the new bed definitely make less noise than the springs in the old bed; but, more than we would like. Still, it’s an improvement. What do you think? We will be posting a longer video with sound on Friday.

Traditional Thursday #283

I’m not quite sure what our signature video topic for 20018 will be; but, right now, we serendipitously seem to creating, more high-quality videos. (Although the sound track still needs work.) Here is the continuation from Tuesday. It looks like, once again, it will be to wet to go out and play for a while.

Traditional Thursday #282

Here is more of the movie that we made. Not one of my better transcoding efforts. It was still fun to create even if a lot was lost in the process of re-encoding for the web. We still have our ongoing problems with sound. Our camera captures high-quality .AVI videos. So, our originals are usually a good starting point. And something fun to look back upon later.

Traditional Thursday #281

For some reason, neither of our home computers have not backing up every day like they are supposed to. It hasn’t caused a problem yet. But, still, it annoying. Especially since the software we use is not a free and less than a year old. It certainly doesn’t inspire confidence. Particularly for something that’s supposed to provide protection against catastrophic failures. Anyway, here is more of the video we made.

Traditional Thursday #278

The Husband on top of The Wife with her legs in the airUnsurprisingly, the taste of spring that we had on Tuesday is over. It’s cold and rainy again. An improvement over cold and snowy; but not by much. Its good for the grass; but, we are longing for some extended sunshine.

I’ve been watching the Olympics whenever I have the opportunity to go dark and not find out the results. Live scores and standings are everywhere, from crawlers on the bottom of TV screens to posts and tweets online. it’s difficult to not find out who one. Especially with “live” television not quite being live.
