The new refrigerator got delivered today. It cooled down MUCH faster than the old one, even compared to when the old one was working. We’re just waiting for it to make the first bucket of ice (which we’re supposed to throw away) before it is fully functional. The new one is a lot nicer than the old one. We just hope we will not be unexpectedly buying anything new for a while. It is definitely not fun having to purchase an emergency replacement.
We have a busy weekend planned since we can never get enough warm summer days. Sometimes, I think we are too busy. Then I remember what it’s like to be stuck inside during the long, cold, snowy winter. These days can be hectic. But, later, when we look back, we wouldn’t trade them for any thing.
Have a great weekend. We will see you on the other side.
Our camera died after only a handful of photos. I restarted it after a while but we did not get as many pictures as we would like. Unreliable equipment is annoying. Especially when it’s something simple like interval shots. When I set it up the second time, there were no issues. Anyway, here is a cute picture from the first group.
I updated the database that supports this blog two major versions in order to resolve a bug with another update. Presumably, comments work, so, please let us know if you discover anything that is not working as it should. Nothing appeared to be broken and everything seemed normal when I was creating this post.
Have a great weekend
The Wife is getting quite a tan from all of the biking and rowing that we have been doing. She wears shorter shorts and shirts with different sleeve lengths so it’s not as odd as mine. Hopefully we will get some more time in the pool to “fix” things. Of course, an uneven tan is a good problem to have. When we were having all of the dreary spring days I didn’t think that we would ever see the sun.
The rain or more precisely the thunder chased us off the river today. It was one of those days where it was actually sunny at the river; but, we could hear lightning. Rowing, like all sports played outdoors, follows the 30-minute rule. And every time we though that the storm might be moving off, there was more lighting. Better safe than sorry. Especially when tomorrow is forecast to be another warm spring day. Have a great weekend.
