Tuesday Two For #3

A couple of readers inquired in the comments of a recent post how we managed to keep the carpet in our master bathroom dry. In my reply, I tried to explain how the areas most likely to get splashed were tiled it; but, as is so often true, a picture is worth a thousand words. So here are a couple of photographs of us in the bathroom that also show the tub and the shower. We think that it is way cool and haven’t had any problems with it. What do you think?

  1. That does explain a lot 🙂
When I lived in a house full of men (back when Bis and I first separated), the bathroom floor was carpeted and it just seemed always damp. Around the toilet was another problem area… xp

    • Kazi: It works really well. We were concerned when we made the request of the builder; but, he had seen/done it somewhere else and said it would be fine. It’s only a few extra pieces of tile so it didn’t really change the cost. We have tile around the toilet too. But I think I have better aim. 😀
