Monday Monologue #16

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • I was having problems leaving comments on Blogger blogs last week for what seems like the millionth time. Google is the most non-responsive company ever. People will put up with a LOT if something is free.
  • The weather we have around here is crazy. Yesterday it was 65°F. Today its 20°F. We like don’t mind cold weather; but not when it happens overnight.
  • All of the FB posts from people on both sides of the gun control debate almost make the days leading up to the election in November seem like a fond memory. I didn’t think it could get any worse; but, apparently, I was wrong.
  • I’ve been doing some freelance work for one of the worst customers I have ever worked with. That’s an extremely difficult feat considering some of the “people” in my business/professional past. I would totally lose my mind if I had to deal with him regularly.

  1. I’ll be away this Sunday with no access to a computer to comment on participants of the Sinful Sunday meme. My phone hates Blogger blogs… the captcha never fits in the screen right and when I try to move it it see it I then can’t type what it is. I also can’t get the captcha to change the way I can when I’m on the computer. So several people may find they don’t hear from me… :p

I have thankfully been spared the gun debate on FB (perhaps because I haven’t been on as much to read the feed).

    • Kazi: I don’t even try to use blogger from my phone. I know that there are other free blogging platforms; that are a lot more user oriented than Google. I stared to say customer server oriented then I remembered that to Google, users are the product and advertisers are the customers.

I don’t mind the gun debate when its original posts. But the constant reposting of propaganda from right-wing or left-wing organizations without any other status updates is quite annoying.
