An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).
- Weight loss was not the goal since I think I’m at an OK weight. But, I’ve lost about 5 lbs. since I started rowing more regularly. For The Wife and me, it’s just something fun and different to do and doesn’t seem like exercise; but rowing works a lot of muscles.
- The throttle spring on the lawn mower broke for the SECOND time when I was cutting the grass earlier. I used some adhesive tape to hold it in position to finish the last small area I needed to cut; but that won’t work for the entire yard. I finally was able to find a replacement after a LONG internet search. Hopefully it will be here before the next time that I have to cut the grass.
- It’s been a couple of weeks since I upgraded the software that was causing our computer to crash whenever we inserted a USB drive. It’s nice to be able to connect something and not have to worry. Buying a new version of “working” software sometimes doesn’t worthwhile; but, oftentimes, the improvements are worth the cost and nuisance.
- The weather has been rainy and dreary forever. It’s cloudy much of the time, then, when the sun finally comes out it rains. We’ve only had one day where it rained a lot; but, we haven’t had any days that were bright and sunny. The only way we can know its July is if we look at a calendar.
