Monday Monologue #77

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • A guy from the lawn service company we use was out on Saturday treating our lawn. They don’t usually work weekends; but they are probably way behind since the ground was covered with snow for so long. This has not been a good year for companies and people in outdoor businesses.
  • I changed the filter in our RO unit on Sunday night. Production slows down so gradually that we often don’t notice until an occasion arises when we use more purified water than usual. Then, when it’s back to normal, we wonder how we didn’t notice.
  • I finally solved a problem that has been nagging me at work. It was basically a “memory test” of something that I had worked on several years ago. I generally have a good memory for things. But, in this case, what was an unimportant detail years ago became much more relevant.
  • The Wife and I would like to wish everyone a Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Say safe.
