The Wife’s watch battery died yet again. Our watches will be six years old on our upcoming anniversary and this is already the 4th time it’s needed to be replaced. And, unfortunately, local jewelers don’t have the facilities to pressure test the seals to guarantee its water resistance. It has to be sent to a “certified” repair facility so she ends up being without it for several weeks which is a HUGE nuisance. Meanwhile, I’ve never replaced the battery mine. Nice, new wristwatches are at the top of our empty nester’s to-do list. Besides, of course, the no-cost things we like to do.
