Monday Monologue #114

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • Thanksgiving was GREAT. It’s always great to get together with my family. And interesting to argue sports with my brother who has never played or coached at any level; especially since I’ve done both.
  • The Wife and I went running in the park together the first time since the spring. It was good that the weather cooperated and it wasn’t too cold or too rainy to be outside; but, we would have much preferred to be doing one of our warm weather workouts.
  • I scoured all of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales; but I couldn’t find a laptop with the features I wanted at a price I was willing to pay. We don’t “need” another computer. So, it has to be inexpensive yet still powerful enough to be useful.
  • I can’t believe that it’s December already. Summer was way too short. And, except for a few days in July, it never really got hot. I am so not ready for another long cold winter.
