An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).
- The game on Sunday was great! Way better than last year. There was a lot more to talk about besides the half time show and the commercials.
- The much anticipated snow storm missed our areal completely. We had only a light dusting overnight. The ominous forecast was basically a false alarm.
- I had to take the “temporary” dog to the vet today. Nothing serious. But, I seem to be doing a lot more with her than I planned/expected.
- I replaced every single smoke detector we have with a new one so, hopefully, we won’t have any more false alarms. It was a lot of rewiring; but it’s definitely worth it.
So, do you want to take a vacation from the snow and come and rewire / replace my smoke detectors. LOL sounds like a lot of work!
Old Guy: It is kinda a lot of work; especially since I’m not fond of being up on ladders. But, I only need to do it once every 10 years. And, unlike some things that truly require a professional installer, a few screwdrivers (and patience) are the only thing tools required. And, of course, attention to detail since two-wire smoke alarms are wired in series like old style Christmas lights. If you misconnect one; it doesn’t work and neither do any of the others.
