Monday Monologue #133

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • I cut the grass for the first time of the season on Saturday. It took a very long time. We had a lot of rain recently and the temperatures have been warmer so it quickly transformed from brown and dormant to green and growing fast. Amazingly, the lawn mower stared on the first pull.
  • We celebrated the “temporary” dog’s birthday this past weekend. She’s been here most of her life. We definitely didn’t plan on her being here for so long. She (mostly) trained these days so now she’s just a dog.
  • Our taxes returns are completed and ready to file. We always owe so we’re not in a hurry to mail them. We like it that way; but we still hate writing the checks.
  • We all got the upgraded to the latest version of Android on our phones. It’s nice being with a carrier that provider timely updates. The last company we were with only did minor updates. So our phones were basically frozen in time.
