An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).
- I upgraded to the 64-bit version of Windows in preparation for Windows 10. It’s good to get our computers cleaned up. I should have refreshed (reinstalled) the OS long ago. There was a LOT of software I didn’t really need any more.
- It rained most of the day today. Needless to say, we did not row or get in the pool. But we did have a good run on the park during a break in the rain.
- It’s really nice being off from work. We’re “understaffed”, so I’ve been overworked for months and a lot of stuff is probably piling up in my absence. There will probably be some long days to catch up next week. But, I’m not even thinking about that right now.
- Trying to decide what to get both of the kids for their birthdays. They’ve already got a lot of sort of things I like to buy as gifts. They’re not hard to buy for. I just like to give presents that are both useful and fun.
