The commute in the snow and ice this morning was crazy. I saw more cars off the road in ditches that I could count. Yet some people still persisted in gong much too fast for the conditions. I would rather get where I’m going a few minutes late rather than not at all. The unfortunate drivers who skidded off the road are going to be waiting a long time for a tow, even if their vehicles are miraculously undamaged. Getting to work exactly on time is not worth the risk.
