Friday Featurette #200

The Wife riding The Husband's dick cowgirl styleWe got caught in the rain today while we were rowing at the furthest possible point we typically get from the dock. It happens to us once or twice a year, and actually was not as bad as it was a few years ago since we row much faster than we used to. Thankfully, we were almost back when we heard thunder. We’re both “surface washable” so we haven’t let the rain the start of our weekend. In fact, it was interesting to see how fast we were going. The Wife is mostly the same; but I am definitely more easy going that I used to be. Life is a lot more fun when you don’t let small things become big deals. Now we’re inside, dry and looking forward to another great weekend. We hope you have a good one too.

Wednesday Weirdness #200

Earlier today, the cashier in the discount store that I stopped in to purchase a few things got annoyed with me because she told me the wrong amount so I didn’t give her enough money. Apparently she told me the total without tax then realized she had not pressed the appropriate keys while I was looking in my wallet so the amount changed. I just let it go; but, definitely not the best customer service.

Monday Monologue #200

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • The weekend was great. I didn’t edge and trim so I didn’t even spend too much time cutting the grass. Of course we got in the pool both days.
  • We all got new smart phones. I don’t have mine all set up yet. They are much nicer than the mobile phones we used previously even though they were “only” two years old.
  • We also got a new vehicle. Something that we don’t do very often. We typically don’t replace vehicles as often as most people so its really nice having something new and modern.
  • I exceed the maximum number of remotes that could be paired to our garage door openers so I had to reset everything and start over. I wonder why they allow so few in the 21st century.

Friday Featurette #199

The Wife sitting naked on the bed before a "photo" sessionThe temperature is supposed to be in the 90s this weekend which is usually a bad thing unless you have a pool lie we do. So, except for me having to cut the grass in the blazing heat, we’re really going to enjoy the upcoming weekend. These are the days that make summer so enjoyable. There can never be too many days with a weather forecast like tomorrow and Sunday. Have a great weekend!

Wednesday Weirdness #199

My mobile phone ran down again today. It doesn’t last the entire day anymore. I have to charge it part way through the day which really doesn’t make it a mobile phone. It needs a brand new battery; which is insanely difficult since the battery is “non-removable”. I’ve replaced similar batteries; but I don’t understand why having an easily replaceable battery is so rare.

Monday Monologue #199

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • We cleaned the hard water stains off our boat on Friday. Most of the problem was from splashing and not where the boat is continually in the water. It’s amazing how “dirty” water is even when it looks clear. We’ll probably have to do it again later in the summer.
  • I continue to be impressed by the outdoor power equipment I purchased earlier this year. Our yard looks nice even though the grass was tall and slightly wet when I cut it.
  • We were outside for a long time in the burning sun on Sunday. It was glorious. The wife a bit overheated and we didn’t row as hard on our last lap. But we much prefer being “too hot” to being too cold. We like July and August much more than January and February.
  • We’ve had a LOT of short, strong thunderstorms recently but not a lot of steady rains. So we haven’t had to put any water in the pool and the grass is not growing as fast as it does in the spring. Less work for us; but not good for our trees.
