The Wife and I will be on vacation the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day as will not be posting until January. We will be around. Just super-busy with several important things going on. We should post again in a couple of weeks.

Today is the shortest day of the year which also makes it the first day of winter. Neither is a good thing. But, stating tomorrow, the days will be getting longer. Even if we’ve got a lot of cold snowy winter weather ahead. Here is the second part of the video we posted earlier this week. Creating it was just the thing for a cold winter night. I just need to work on getting the editing finished quicker.
I’ve been getting a lot of packages this week. Mostly because I picked ship “faster rather” than “fewer boxes” when I was doing my Christmas shopping since I was concerned about one item delaying everyone else’s Christmas presents. The shipping cost (to me) was the same either way. I expected a few more boxes. But, not nearly as many as I’ve received. Still, its great to be ready fore the holiday even if I have extra cardboard boxes to recycle.
We are still experimenting with VideoStudio Pro. It can’t do anything about the sound. But, it does have some lots of effects that can be applied. We can do things with it that you can only do with a full-featured application that are well beyond the capabilities of the utility we normally use. It will take a while to learn. But, little by little we’ll use it to improve the quality of our videos.

Ordinarily, this would be a great day because it would be the start of our Christmas vacation. Now, its “just” another Friday. Not bad; but not as good as if we had a long vacation to look forward to. And, I’ve still have shopping to do for Christmas. I’m not a last-minute shopper; but typically, I’ve waited until I’m on vacation. It used to be so I could shop during the day when I was off and the stores weren’t so crowded. But, there’s not really a reason now. Have a great weekend.
Today was one of those days that you hope won’t happen too often. Everything is “OK”. But it was mentally exhausting to get there. Plus, I had to begin my day at the dentist’s office getting a filling. Glad to be home. And glad to have a hobby that is a relaxing escape.
Amazingly, even though it is 2017, there is no way to clear the dictionary of learned worlds on my smart phone. The only thing I can do is clear everything. To get rid of all the saved typos, I also have to delete all the words that I want to keep. Sometimes, I wonder who designs such things.
