The photographs we took last week were grainy because camera was accidentally set to “Auto Picture” mode rather than “Portrait” mode. And Auto Picture mode uses “standard” settings unless there is something in the picture to make it select a specific pre-programmed mode. We learned that Portrait mode is best for these types of pictures long ago. Unfortunately, Auto Picture mode only selects Portrait mode when the camera detects a person’s face. The camera was set up correctly this week so the pictures are much clearer. We picked similar “poses” to what we featured last week; but the photos should be much clearer.
