Friday Featurette #233

The Wife sitting naked on the bed before a "photo" sessionWe’re not sure what made the photographs so grainy this week. We’re still using the same camera and the same editing software. I don’t like mysteries. Anyway, we hope that you’re having a fabulous St. Patrick’s Day.

Be safe and have a great weekend.

Wednesday Weirdness #233

I know it goes with the territory; but, I am drowning in meetings at work. My calendar is so full that I’ve recently started to get invitations to early morning meetings or lunchtime meetings since that is the only time that is “available”. And most of the meetings are pointless and really don’t require my participation. Email is mostly good; but, I’m pretty sure I didn’t have so many meetings years ago, when meeting invites had to be distributed by hand. Unfortunately, those days are never coming back.

Monday Monologue #233

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • The way the weather in March is going, we may end up having rowed more in February. Like much of the country, a BIG snowstorm is on the way. We know it’s going to snow. The only question is how much.
  • We usually keep our boat inside over the winter; but, because of the unusual weather, we’ve already moved it outside and prepared it for the season. It will be fine; but, it will be strange seeing it covered in snow.
  • I’m not fully recovered yet; but I feel better than I have in weeks. I’m not sure why I’ve been unable to completely regenerate. I’m really looking forward to the day when I have my normal/full complement of energy. Hopefully it will be soon.
  • If it wasn’t covered with snow, I would probably need to cut the grass. Partly because I like to keep it long over the winter; and partly because its already started to grow again. It’s not growing like it does in May. But it’s not brown and dormant any more either.

Friday Featurette #232

The Wife sitting naked on the bed with some flavored lubricantWe’re having yet one another of those weird swings in weather that there have been so many of this winter. Yesterday, it was sunny and in the 60s and I went for a row. Today it’s the windy and in the 20s. I’m hoping that all the changes aren’t what’s making me sick; but I have been outside in the weather a lot, both warm and cold.

Have a great weekend! I hope your favorite college basketball team gets invited it to “The Dance”.

Wednesday Weirdness #232

The key fob to one of our cars somehow came off the lanyard I use. for my keys. Fortunately, it came loose when I was taking my keys out of my pocket. So, the only thing I need is a new key ring rather than a new key and RKE transmitter. And I don’t have to worry about anyone driving off in our car. But, is was disconcerting to notice that I was missing a set of keys that I know I left the house with.

Tuesday Two For #232

The Wife sucking The Husband's dickIt will probably snow a bit this weekend; but, our lawn service company has already been out and performed their first application of the year. Plus, we ran outside in warm weather clothes and rowed again last weekend. And the time change is this coming weekend. Spring is almost here.

Monday Monologue #232

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • Sunday was even busier than we planned since we were able to get out and row. We don’t have much opportunity to row the first week in March so it was definitely worth it.
  • I installed yet Another WordPress security update. I don’t do automatic updates since I like to know what’s going on. And, recently, I have to restart the web server after every update so they are an even bigger nuisance and auto updates would instead be auto failure.
  • Unfortunately, whatever cold/flu that I’ve got still lingers. I don’t usually go to the doctor since generally recover before I can get an appointment; but this time would have been an exception. I’m getting really tired of being sick.
  • The temporary dog and her owner were home visiting recently. She (the dog) was well behaved but still thinks this is home. I don’t think she will ever get totally used to being somewhere else.
