An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).
- We broke another water bottle this past weekend. We didn’t have any issues for a long time; but we’ve broken two (and lost one) this summer. We’ve dropped them without a problem in the past. Recently, however, the bottles have cracked where the lids screw on.
- We came home Sunday to a clogged drain pipe in the kitchen. It wasn’t difficult to un-clog. Just disgusting. I had to disassemble the trap in order to remove the lateral pipe that was the source of the clog. So, we had to deal with the smell from the rest of the drain pipes in addition to the smell of the clog. Not fun.
- Sadly, we’ve put our new boats away for the year. It’s too dark to row in the evenings after the time change. We’re hoping for a warm sunny weekend day where we can row our older, less tippy one. But, the season is definitely over for the smaller, newer ones.
- As always, we are both struggling to adjust to the time change. Our internal clocks don’t adjust as smoothly as electronic ones.
