Monday Monologue #333

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • There have been several of outages in the data center our server is in; both scheduled and unscheduled recently. Thanks for sticking with us. Hopefully you are able to read this.
  • It was a bit chilly on Sunday afternoon; but we were able to row both days this weekend. That makes it seem more like spring even though the weather was too dark and rainy to do anything outside today.
  • We need to get new tires for our SUV. We’re use to below-average fuel economy, so, most of the time, we really like having a larger vehicle. Except when we need to replace the tires or do similar maintenance. Nothing that fits our vehicle is competitivity priced.
  • We are going to be offline for the rest of the week. We will see you in seven days.

Friday Featurette #332

The Wife sitting naked on the bed before a "photo" sessionIt looks like we can get out and row both days this coming weekend. Its won’t be “warm”; but just being able to be outside two days in a row makes it seem more like spring. We have had do few good weekends this winter and strong that even an “OK” one weather-wise seems great. But, we are still hoping for a long, hot summer full of days with burning sunshine. Have a great weekend.

Traditional Thursday #332

The Wife riding The Husband's dick cowgirl styleIn one of those strange occurrences that seems to happen to me more often than it should, I got an unusually large number of emails at both home and work, many of which were important. So, what was already a long day become even longer. And, I’m catching a cold. I’m going to bed. I hope I’ll feel better in the morning and that tomorrow will be a “regular” day.

Wednesday Weirdness #332

Today was the first day of spring. And, the forecast rains head off long enough for The Wife and I to go for a row. The weather wasn’t totally spring like; but it was good to be on the water. Somehow, over the past few years, we’ve become “diehards” and do things we wouldn’t have remotely considered doing a few years ago. I’m still not sure how or when it happened.

Monday Monologue #332

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • Happy belated St. Patrick’s Day everyone. We did a few errands; but, otherwise, mostly stayed in. A quiet day at home was what I need to relax and recharge
  • We are (mostly) adjusted to the time change and its only taken a week. Usually it takes us longer. Perhaps having several somewhat sunny days last week helped. It was definitely a welcome change from the gray skies we have so often during the winter.
  • Now that we’ve been outside rowing, I am having a hard time getting motivated for my indoor workouts. I still go to the gym; but, it’s difficult to really go as hard; especially with the first day of spring on Wednesday.
  • Looking forward to “March Madness”. We don’t have a favorite team; but, it’s still fun to follow since every game is “win or go home”. And, there is a “Cinderella” almost every year.

Friday Featurette #331

The Husband and The Wife enjoying a moment togetherI had to work very late today which is not the best way to start the weekend. I almost didn’t get to the gym in time enough to get a workout in before it closed. Plus, I still had a few things to finish up after I got home. But, now I’m done with everything and ready for a quiet, relaxing weekend. Seems like I’ve had a lot of long days recently. ‘m not going to worry about that now. Besides going to the gym, I have nothing else I need to do. Have a great weekend.

Wednesday Weirdness #331

Earlier this week, I was trying to remember the last time the Wife and I were able to go for a run in the park. I’m sure there must have been a time or two; but I can’t recall when. All of the weekend workouts that I remember were at the gym. The weather this winter has been that miserable.

Tuesday Two For #331

I haven’t had a good night’s sleep any night since the time change. I’ve always hand something to do that kept me up late and or got me up early. So, today we’re posting a short video that required minimal editing. We still plan to get a new camera that can take unattended videos from on the tripod. Its just not at the top of the list. Especially in tax season.
