I’ve had another turn with the sun (AKA birthday). It certainly beats the alternative. But I do wonder where the time went. It doesn’t seem that long ago that I was 30-something and everyone was talking about everything breaking in the year 2000. It was a (mostly) false alarm. But was the dominant technical news story in 1999. Twenty years just flashed by.
