Monday Monologue #378

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • We took a walk around the neighborhood on Saturday for the first time in forever. It was nice to not be inside looking out the window. And to not have to be so bundled up.
  • We got out and rowed on Sunday! It was great to be outdoors after over three months of being stuck inside. We were hoping that the trend continued today. But, as often happens in March, the weather did not cooperate.
  • As expected, we’re both still recovering from the time change. We like the extra daylight in the evening; but we still have a difficult time adjusting. It’s extra hard to get up and get a workout in before work even though I don’t have to leave the house.
  • I washed my car on Saturday even though it’s supposed to rain tomorrow. It may be wishful thinking; but I’m hoping that it’s the last time this winter that I need to wash the salt and grit off.
