Traditional Thursday #378
I’m really glad we got our own exercise equipment last year. I’m probably being paranoid; but I’m not going to the gym and using public equipment that some unknown person or persons has sweated on anytime in the near future.
Wednesday Weirdness #378
All of the cancellations and limitations to combat the current situation are crazy. I seems like every day brings the implementation of additional restrictions. We’ll know soon enough whether it was not enough too much.
Tuesday Two For #378
We have a limited selection of pictures to choose from for this week’s posts because the flash on our camera didn’t activate in what has become an ongoing issue. It’s frustrating. Partly because I dislike outdated technology that’s not as use full as it once was. And partly because its non-replacement serves as a reminder of the other things that need to be replace more urgently.
Monday Monologue #378
An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).
- We took a walk around the neighborhood on Saturday for the first time in forever. It was nice to not be inside looking out the window. And to not have to be so bundled up.
- We got out and rowed on Sunday! It was great to be outdoors after over three months of being stuck inside. We were hoping that the trend continued today. But, as often happens in March, the weather did not cooperate.
- As expected, we’re both still recovering from the time change. We like the extra daylight in the evening; but we still have a difficult time adjusting. It’s extra hard to get up and get a workout in before work even though I don’t have to leave the house.
- I washed my car on Saturday even though it’s supposed to rain tomorrow. It may be wishful thinking; but I’m hoping that it’s the last time this winter that I need to wash the salt and grit off.
Friday Featurette #377
Both Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be good days to get outside and enjoy the rare sunshine. Sunday won’t be so good because we’ll be recovering from the time change. But, we will enjoy having an extra hour of daylight in the evening.

The Wife’s phone is starting to weird out every time there is a new OTA software update. It might be time for a new one since she’s had it for a while. But, she’s comfortable with it. And, unlike mine, the battery and screen are both is still in good shape.
Wednesday Weirdness #377
I had a “working lunch” at a “love it or hate it” niche restaurant. I’m in the “hate it” category. I try to be flexible. It’s annoying when people pick places like that. I would much rather go someplace generic. The food might not be great; but it’s not terrible either. Now, I’ve added one more place to my “never again list”. I try and be flexible. But I was kinda taken advantage of which won’t happen again.
Tuesday Two For #377
I’m really jonsing for a new camera even though a new dishwasher is probably the next thing we need to buy. Ours is actually doing a better job washing dishes than our camera does at taking photographs. But, washing dishes by hand is something we would both rather avoid. And given, the difficulty I’ve had finding spare parts, we may not have a choice.
Monday Monologue #377
An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).
- It was windy; but it was almost 60-degrees yesterday. A great way to start spring!
- It will be a while for me; but I’m starting to wonder when my obsessive neighbor will cut his grass. Its still dormant; but that doesn’t stop him.
- I wanted to wash my car; but it started to rain on my way home even though the sun was shining. It’s seems weird when happens even though it not that unusual.
- A week from now, we’ll have one hour more of daylight in the evenings. We can’t wait.
