Friday Featurette #364
I’m not the biggest Black Friday shopper; but I still found some good online deals that were too good to pass up. I know it helps stores increase sales. But, if there’s an item that I’m considering purchasing, I’ll wait to see how much it costs in the post-Thanksgiving Day sales rather than buy it earlier. There are usually a few software packages where that is the only time that I get their yearly updates. On the other hand, if things were always more expensive, I might not buy them at all.

Friday Featurette #359
The Wife always fixes the bed after our photo sessions even though we are going to bed soon. She is a very neat person. I guess that I am too which is why we are compatible. And we both enjoy making a mess. I’ll be outside all days both Saturday and Sunday with rain and wind in the forecast which will not be fun. Have a great weekend.

I noticed when I was adding tags to this post that I had accidentally created a new category because of a typo. That’s way more frustrating than it would seem because there isn’t a way to merge tags despite all the useless and unnecessary features that have been added to WordPress over the past few years. They’ve added a primitive built-in photo editor when lots of external photo editing packages are readily available. Yet you still can’t manage categories. But, at least, its Friday. Tuesday Two For #351
I may have been a bit too optimistic last week about our camera. The reader didn’t recognize the memory card when I tried to download the pictures from our photo session. Finally, after much inserting and removing the memory card and plugging and unplugging of the card reader from the computer I was able to read and download our pictures. I’ll re-format the card and hope for smoother downloading next week. We did get some pictures we like.
Tuesday Two For #343
As you can see, The Wife is just starting to get a tan. We’ve had several days of sunny weather recently. Its only been a few days but it seems that summer may finally be here. That would be very good fortune as our annual summer vacation (for Independence Day) is next week. The extended forecast looks promising; but we’ve been disappointed many times this year. For now, we still have high hopes.
Friday Featurette #342
We’re hopeful that we may finally be able to row sometime this weekend even though the river forecast not promising. This year we’ve experienced the worst conditions for outdoor activities that we’ve ever had since we started. It’s a very minor annoyance in the grand scheme of things. However, it is somewhat frustrating that wet and dreary has become “normal”. We’d like to think that summer will bring some actual summer weather. Wish us luck and have a great weekend.
