I installed the replacement part for the furnace that I was waiting on earlier today shortly after it was delivered. It appears to have fixed the problem. Now we are as warm as we want to be. Its good to have heat. Even if were don’t need it too much. But, sometimes, it seems as if I spend far too much of my time doing the homeowner thing.
Were back online! All is well except for a bit more cleanup from the network connectivity issue while we were on hiatus. Its rare for us to take a week off; but sometimes, real life makes it necessary. Our camera stopped working (again) during our photo session. So, we have a limited selection of pictures. Very annoying when that happens. We’ll probably reach into the way-back machine and post “old” from the week we were offline. We still have a few things to catch up on. But, in the meantime, it’s good to publish a new post.
It looks like we can get out and row both days this coming weekend. Its won’t be “warm”; but just being able to be outside two days in a row makes it seem more like spring. We have had do few good weekends this winter and strong that even an “OK” one weather-wise seems great. But, we are still hoping for a long, hot summer full of days with burning sunshine. Have a great weekend.
The Wife and I have matching wristwatches. So, we both wear our fitness trackers on our dominant hand which is a bit of an adjustment. We got our watches as an anniversary gift to ourselves, so we’ll continue to wear them even though they’re really just jewelry and our phones keep much better time. Our style is definitely an unusual blend of old and new. Have a great weekend!
Unsurprisingly, there was an upgrade notice for a new version of WordPress greeting me on the dashboard when I logged in. Their release cadence is crazy. Once every 2 or 3 months would be fine. Not the other way around like it has bene recently. Especially since updates often seem to break something. An unavoidable nuisance task I’ll be doing tomorrow or Sunday. Have a great weekend.
I got home very late from work today. So, we are only posting a snapshot I took of The Wife drying her hair. The busy winter for me just won’t stop. I am really looking forward to the day when we will have more time to plan and prepare for our picture-taking sessions. We’re not rushed. But we are can’t totally forget that its already a late evening. And, of course, it’s snowing (again). This never-ending winter just won’t quite go away.
I actually left work “early” for me for a Friday. Which means that I didn’t leave as late as I have been going home recently. And, I won’t be doing any work this weekend like I have been. So, this weekend will be as relaxing as a cold, gray February weekend can be. Long days as work are more “tolerable” during the winter when I’m stuck inside. But I still hope that things slow down. Have a great weekend.
The wife drying her hair and then sitting on the bed (with a tube of flavored lubricant) is always a welcome site. Especially after a long day. I’ve had a lot of long days recently. I know that is the … Continue reading
A hopefully quiet weekend awaits me. I’ve completed two high-priority projects at work and perhaps only a light dusting of snow is in the forecast. So, the only things I “need” to do are get a couple of workouts in and wash my car. We’ll probably watch one of the Blu-Rays we have. And look at the huge pile of snow in the tree lawn and wonder how many days or weeks or months before we can row again. Have a great weekend.
In a replay of last weekend, a big snowstorm is once again forecast for this weekend. After the snow stops temperatures are supposed to drop to below zero and freeze everything in one of the worst combinations possible. Plus, 45mph winds are expected. We’ve stocked up on groceries, I’ve gotten gas for the snow blower and I’ve located my snowmobile suit. We don’t need to go anywhere except for perhaps a quick workout if the gym is open. Otherwise, we’ll be home in a comfortable environment. Say warm. Stay safe. And have a great weekend.
