Friday Featurette #377
Both Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be good days to get outside and enjoy the rare sunshine. Sunday won’t be so good because we’ll be recovering from the time change. But, we will enjoy having an extra hour of daylight in the evening.

Tuesday Two For #376
Many of the pictures from this week’s phot session were very dark for some unknown reason. The lighting is the same; but our camera thinks something is different and doesn’t make the proper adjustments. It’s really hard to tell what the issue is since the flash activates. Obviously, something is different; but I can’t tell what. I hate mysteries.

Our microwave was finally delivered to the store. Unfortunately, I had to wait 45-minutes, when I stopped by on my way home after work to pick it up. Not because they were busy. But, because no matter how many times customer pick-up called or paged, the person assigned to get merchandise never came to help. The store manager finally went and found it and loaded it into my car. Have a great weekend. I know what Ill be doing on Saturday.

Its not much; but there is actually a little bit of daylight in the mornings when we wake up. Looking forward to the day when there is normal light and waking up at my regular time doesn’t seem like waking up in the middle of the night.

Today was an exceptionally dreary day. It wasn’t quite as cold as it has been. But there was a cold rain the entire day. And after a very busy Saturday last week, I am really looking forward to this coming weekend since I have nothing but my usually Saturday stuff to do, and my Sunday is totally free.

The weekend is finally here and we are so ready. Hopefully, we’ll get over the final hump and be fully recovered by Monday. I’ve got a busy Saturday planed; but The Wife should be able to stay in and relax. A quiet weekend or, in my case, a quiet Sunday, is very timely. And, The Wife has Monday off so it’s a 3-day weekend for her.

We are both finally back to life after fighting a bug that wouldn’t go away. Neither of us is fully recovered. But we are definitely on the mend and feel better than we have in weeks. Now the only thing we have to fight is the winter blues. Fortunately, though the weather has been dark and dreary, it hasn’t been bitter cold like it usually is.

The new version of the photo editing software I use often shows a pop-up to upgrade to the “ultimate” edition. Very annoying since I’m running the “standard” edition which is exactly what I need. It seems to be a once-a-week thing; but there should not be any ads to upgrade to a premium edition in software I paid for. Especially with no apparent way to opt out.
