Monday Monologue #354

An interior monologue from me (and sometimes the wife).

  • We survived Friday the 13th (and a nearly full moon) without any major mishaps. But it was somewhat eerie.
  • It’s been very dry here. So much so that we had to water the grass (and skip mowing) over the weekend. It’s probably too dry; but we clear weather is good for row rowing races.
  • It’s going to be a long season for our favorite professional football team.
  • The Wife got a new diaphragm. More on that later.

Tuesday Two For #164

Since we already need to transcode for the web, I’m experimenting with rotating videos during the conversion to MP4. We don’t have a specific requirement. But, it would be nice to know how to do it in case the need arises in the future. One day, we may take a really cool video with the camera sideways and want to flip it. Anyway, here is the result of our first experiment. A short clip of The Wife inserting her diaphragm. As you can see she is well practiced at it.

Friday Featurette #47

The Wife putting in her diaphragmFor a variety of reasons, this has been LONG week for The Wife and me. We’ve got things to do on Saturday; but, hopefully, there will still be time for the activities that occur after the event featured in this photograph. August has been unseasonably cool, so I will still need to cut the grass and work in the yard this weekend. But; we can still sleep in!

Have a great weekend. We’ll see you on the other side.

Traditional Thursday #43

The Wife in the bathroom inserting her diaphragmToday, we are posting another candid photo from our last photo session. It was totally unplanned; but we really liked how the lights in the background framed the shot. This image is definitely in the “a picture is worth a thousand words” category. And, of course, The Wife putting in her diaphragm is always good.

Friday Featurette #38

The Wife inserting her diaphragmToday is the first full day of summer and longest day of the year. And, the weather has been sunny and warm. It’s really starting to feel like summer. So, as the Friday before the Friday before our customary Independence Day vacation concludes, The Wife and I are wishing for a time machine. We would like nothing better than to fast forward to our much anticipated Fourth of July staycation. We’ve definitely got sumeritis.
