And, just like that, tomorrow is the last day of February. This winter has been “mild” for around here. We’ve had some cold and some snow, and, of course, the endless dreary days. But, we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I spoke to soon about the winter not being too bad. We had an ice storm followed by snow fall. Certainly not the sort of weather to be out and about in. And, since its February, it won’t melt for a while. Hopefully we won’t have too many more winter storms.

Today is the last day of the month and we are happy to put January into the past. It hasn’t been a bad month. In fact, its been “good” as cold, dreary winter months go. We didn’t even have much snow. But, it’s still not any fun being stuck indoors for people who like to be outside. Have a great weekend. Good luck to your team in the big game on Sunday.

I am slightly superstitious; especially on days like today, so on this unlucky Friday the 13th I’ll simply say Have a great weekend.
I picked up the early Christmas present we purchased on Black Friday. They charged for delivery so I had it shipped to the store. It cardio/exercise equipment so it was very heavy and not easy to get move. But, since I have an appropriate vehicle, in-store pickup was quicker and cheaper. It will be great to have on cold, dreary winter days. Have a great weekend.
I had kind of a trying day at work today so I am really ready for the weekend. Next week is only a three-day week and I am really looking forward to it. I definitely need a break. If it seems like I’ve had a lot of days like that recently, I have. But, is Friday evening now. And just in time.

With the time change less than two weeks away, rowing season is drawing to an end. After that, it will be too dark to row in the evenings and well be limited to sunny weekend afternoons. It’s been a good great year for us. But we still hate to see it end. We’re still getting better and our race performances are improving. We just hate to be (mostly) off the water until next spring. Even when we are doing laps for time, it doesn’t really seem like practice to us.
Today was a very frustrating day at work. Everyone has one occasionally. But I seem to be having a lot recently. I am always happy for the weekend. But, today, I am especially happy for the weekend. Of course, I’m really dreading Monday. But I’m really planning to enjoy the next 48-hours as I refresh, relax and recharge. Have a great weekend.
