I got home very late from work today. So, we are only posting a snapshot I took of The Wife drying her hair. The busy winter for me just won’t stop. I am really looking forward to the day when we will have more time to plan and prepare for our picture-taking sessions. We’re not rushed. But we are can’t totally forget that its already a late evening. And, of course, it’s snowing (again). This never-ending winter just won’t quite go away.
I actually left work “early” for me for a Friday. Which means that I didn’t leave as late as I have been going home recently. And, I won’t be doing any work this weekend like I have been. So, this weekend will be as relaxing as a cold, gray February weekend can be. Long days as work are more “tolerable” during the winter when I’m stuck inside. But I still hope that things slow down. Have a great weekend.
The wife drying her hair and then sitting on the bed (with a tube of flavored lubricant) is always a welcome site. Especially after a long day. I’ve had a lot of long days recently. I know that is the … Continue reading
A hopefully quiet weekend awaits me. I’ve completed two high-priority projects at work and perhaps only a light dusting of snow is in the forecast. So, the only things I “need” to do are get a couple of workouts in and wash my car. We’ll probably watch one of the Blu-Rays we have. And look at the huge pile of snow in the tree lawn and wonder how many days or weeks or months before we can row again. Have a great weekend.
In a replay of last weekend, a big snowstorm is once again forecast for this weekend. After the snow stops temperatures are supposed to drop to below zero and freeze everything in one of the worst combinations possible. Plus, 45mph winds are expected. We’ve stocked up on groceries, I’ve gotten gas for the snow blower and I’ve located my snowmobile suit. We don’t need to go anywhere except for perhaps a quick workout if the gym is open. Otherwise, we’ll be home in a comfortable environment. Say warm. Stay safe. And have a great weekend.
The long days at work are continuing, and Christmas vacation seems even more distant, if possible. I don’t want/need to leave work early on Friday. I would be happy to just be able to leave on time. And not receive a bunch of emails in the evening and over the weekend that make me already behind on Monday. A big snowstorm is forecast to move through the area. Stay safe and have a great weekend.
We did not have a lot of options for todays photograph due to the previously mentioned technical difficulties. Whether or not I buy depends upon the prices I find; but, I will definitely be checking the after-Christmas sales for the new camera I want. Starting today, we’re on Christmas vacation. We hope you’re on vacation too, or at least will be able to enjoy a four-day weekend. Even if you have to work we wish you a merry Christmas.
We tried to make a move this week. Unfortunately, it was not to be. I made a test video of The Wife standing in front of the mirror in the bedroom drying her hair and everything worked perfectly. But, when I actually put the camera on the tripod, it stopped recording almost immediately. So, we only have this “test” video and a short “regular” clip.
After all the busy weekends, we do not have much planned for Saturday or Sunday. It’s supposed to rain. So, even though it will be warm, we won’t be able to row or do any yard work. It will be good to relax. Unfortunately, I expect it’s just the first weekend of manythat we’ll be reminiscing about the summer and anxiously waiting for spring.
Have a great weekend.
We were thinking earlier today that our digital camera is over 8 years old. Even though it is very finicky, its amazing that it still works at all. We’ve reached the point where we are (pleasantly) surprised if it operatels normally for the entire photo session. Which, of course means, that it’s long past time to get a new one. We will certainly be checking the online sales on Friday. Anyway, here is a short video we made to make sure it can still record movies semi-reliably.
